I still don't know what possessed me to buy it anyways. Maybe because I was already holding it. Maybe because we were in a hurry, maybe because I have social anxiety difficulties. Either way, they stopped at Dells Lemonade on the way back and Dells is fantastic.

The lobster later that night was okay. I liked the green stuff inside but kinda got made fun of for trying it because its apparently digested lobsters food. I dunno how much 6 lobsters cost either, but it was nice of them for both buying and for going to a pier instead of buying the same thing down the street at the local supermarket, lol.

And I know this isn't related to the thread, but a few places to eat in the city, some are out of the way, and are not touristy places. You'll find good food.

>Doughboy's in South Boston - fantastic burgers
>Spinelli's in East Boston - big fan of the chicken/broccoli/ziti in alfredo sauce, and the rice balls are orgasmic
>Tacos Locos in Somerville, on Broadway (Sullivan Square end of the street) - best burritos in the city, hands down, and the baked fish is fantastic. Just be careful to not get knifed walking there.

>Paulis - good, but usually pretty busy, touristy
>Sullivans in south Boston - also good, better prices than most places nearby
>Drydock Cafe - one of my favorite places to go when working in the area. The lobster roll is good, the fried clams are great, and they also have specials of the day, like meatloaf, fried chicken, shepards pie, etc. When stopping by, be prepared for a wait, it's a popular places with the office types and blue collar gents in the area.

Yes I do deserve to use. I have a commanding grasp on it. I can attempt to communicate with you in gutterspeak if you prefer.

All those WURDS and you still can't make a point. Good education you have there.
Your parents must be proud.

You make minimum wage right?

>> No.5721976

>>5721964
Let's assume for a moment that I, along with everyone on /ck/ is in fact a McDonalds tier troglodyte. Even a minimum wage in bongistan is a more livable wage than having to resort to roommates in a tiny, 100 year old shanty in the dilapidated NE pit.

I can appreciate your frustration. It's absolutely awful living where you are. I understand you, anon with obnoxious accent.

Not that guy, but I think that is, in fact, a pretty good assumption, in your case.

So is it old money empire or a dilapidated pit? at least be consistent with a stereotype.

>> No.5721992

>>5721979
It's both. Old money doesn't mean you have a mansion. It means you have property your great grandfather owned a century ago. Your city infrastructures are complete shit. If your old money property was located in region that isn't overpriced garbage, you'd be able to afford to rebuild your run down shacks.

Im sorry you dont understand concepts like renovation or suburban sprawl after 1950.
houses from the colonial era that are still standing are worth big money.

>> No.5722020

>>5722015
Except not, because for the same amount you would spend on "muh colonial house," you could purchase a brand new house elsewhere that won't require constant "renovation" or have ridiculous property tax.

Why are you people so happy to be financially raped? Is it so you can enjoy all that melting pot multiculturalism?

>> No.5722022

>>5722015
There's a big difference between a colonial era house that's been upkept, and a shitty shanty that still heats on OIL DELIVERED BY TRUCK.

Good question, maybe things like abundant recreational eras, close proximity to cities/rural eras, higher education standards, and a highly competitive job market with wages adjusted for COL?

enjoy your 1 stoplight.

I thought you ignorant rurals distrusted municipal water, roads, non privatized fire and police forces, and so on. Because not my president.

I've lived in Worcester, MA. I can tell you from first hand experience that all the food there is shit. Don't bother trying to find good food. Sole Proprietor is seafood that isn't completely ass, apparently, and The Boynton wasn't bad. But if you already live in a place with good food, you'll be sad forever.
