I recently bought some Platinum x7 vodka and it's not bad. I mix it with whatever juice i have and keep it frozen til i drink it. The burn is minimal and the taste is good enough. Was like $16 before tax for a 1.75L

I'll second this. Platinum is, IMO, one of the better vodkas for simple mixed cocktails.

Not very harsh, no real aftertaste - unlike some of the slightly cheaper ones.

Vodka is made in factories. the only difference between brands is amount of filtration.
