Hey /ck/, I'm finally moving into an apartment on Monday. This will be my first time needing to buy my own food and shit. My food budget is going to be pretty low, I'm aiming to keep it under $100 a month but realistically I could afford $200 a month.

What are things I can cook that will stretch my dollar as far as possible? Any advice would be great.

don't buy premade shit unless you're in a weird country where it's cheaper to
buy pasta, rice, potatoes
write a basic meal plan and follow it
don't buy brand anything, it'll make it more exciting when you can afford to splash out

Right now just the standard pots and pans. Also will have an oven, electric stove, and a microwave.
