No pics cause i was drunk but i charred a chicken thigh and cooked it in my slow cooker then made green chili tamales....sounds like a lot but i cook best when i'm drunk. I already had the masa and corn husks prepared anyway so i just had to roll em and toss em in the steamer. Had a side of black beans with salt and lime, some sweet corn and some tequila. A+

3.5 cups all purpose flour
0.25 cups whole wheat flour
1 package (2.5 tsp) quick rise yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1.25 cups warm water (110 F)
2 tbsp olive oil.

Combine flours, yeast, sugar and salt in a food processor. Add water and oil in a steady stream as the motor runs, then pulse until the dough forms a rough mass. Let dough rest 5-10 min. Process again for 25-30 seconds, then transfer to a floured work surface. Form dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl, coating evenly with oil. Rest about 1.5 hours until dough has doubled in size.

After it's risen split the ball in two and let each half rest for 10 min. before rolling out.

top that with carbon credit schemes that Gore et al showed great interest in pushing, and you get some truly scary shit. Like burning up organic crop waste into charcoal, then spreading it around on the fields and giving farmers carbon credits for it. Think of combining that with extra fertilizers and pesticides. Watersheds could get fucked for centuries with a few years of poorly manged fields.

That is the "Special" pizza from my favorite pizza place ever. It's a little hole in the wall carry-out only place, with the friendliest guys working, but they make damn good pizza. ANYWAY, that sucker has Salami, Pepperoni, Linguica, Crispy Eggplant, Olives, Mushrooms, Garlic, Red Onions, and Feta. It is pure love in pizza form. They also have a Greek pizza that's fucking awesome, we usually alternate between those. I use to live right around the corner from this place, and would get pizzas on the regular, but now I live 10 miles away, so I make the trip once or twice a month to get some. The crust is perfect, thin and crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside....yum. Just had a leftover piece for breakfast.

I don't know English Pudding, but from what I gathered it doesn't seem to be the same. Also English Pudding looks a lot like cake?

You just heat milk with a little salt, when it's boiling you put in Semolina until it becomes hard to stir, then you add sugar and take it off the heat. Then just stir in some egg yolks and butter. Last you carefully mix in (don't know English word for not quite stir) whipped egg whites inbetween and let it cool down.

It's quite sweet but also makes you feel full really fast.

I got off work not too long ago, so I felt lazy/tired and made mac and cheese with tuna. It wasn't very good.

I'm disappointed that the generic Kroger brand box tastes worse than the knock off Velveeta that Aldi sells. I'm also disappointed that this time around, using evaporated milk didn't help make the cheese any creamier.

Right now, I'm just snacking on smoked salmon dip and crackers to make up for the bland dinner.

Thursdays kind of suck.

fggt where is your lemons and sugar, you need to be making spiked blueberry lemonade. creamy chicken is easy for me to find, its one of the best maybe the best. I've never been able to find the mushroom flavor, I look every time at the store.

they had mushroom, lime shrimp, roast beef and pretty much every flavor that I never see

I was almost going to order the creamy chicken at one point for about $1 plus shipping but I got these for 4 for 1 buck

highly recommended to use in lemonade. my usual poison is bourbon but I get shine sometimes and will always make a batch of lemonade with it. I'm sure frozen cubes would be good, especially in summer. I like doing homemade lemonade w squeezed lemon and cane sugar but sometimes just use trader joe's shit. it should be good with bottle juice and plain sugar.

The original Martini is made with gin. If you make it with vodka it's customary to refer to it as "vodka martini." If you don't specify and someone serves you a martini with vodka, throw it in their face and find another bar to drink at.

yes the original martini is gin, but vodka martinis have become so popular that they sell alot more then ori"GIN"al martinis especially here in phoenix when you say martini they automatically assume your going to use vodka

>when you say martini they automatically assume your going to use vodka
I don't care where you're from or how popular the vodka martini is, this is straight up bullshit. Any competent bartender should assume gin unless told otherwise. Really competent bartenders would just ask you to specify to avoid wasting liquor.

If I asked for a martini and someone served me a vodka martini without even asking I would be legitimately irritated.
