I grew up on these things with a similar idea and chocolate that was like cadbury tier. The first time I had a Kinder Surprise I was blown away by how awful the chocolate was. Could not finish it.

Also Yowies had cooler toys (not the pictured ones though). They had this Australian native animals that you put together and had moving parts.
