god damn it, /ck/

GOD DAMN IT

I'm tired of not being able to try this fucking "Shin Ramyun" because my southern Wal-Mart is too backwoods to carry it. I've seen this image one too many times now. I'm breaking down. You've broken me: I'm going to order some of it online. Is there a difference between the regular version and the Black version? Is the Black just more spicy? Does anyone have experience with either of them that may be able to advise on which is better?

I had some Maruchan beef flavor ramen a couple weeks ago and it was pretty shit. Is Shin Ramyun really that much better?

I used to be years ago. I eat it if I'm really broke, but that's been quite awhile. I saw OP's image a couple weeks ago and decided to throw together some Maruchan beef ramen because I have fresh green onions in my garden and was kind of craving it. It didn't really help it though, maybe I just fucked up making my ramen (noodles were softer than I intended). I would just like to try a different brand than the shit they have in my redneck town.

... why push everything else to one side for the egg when, you could just crack an egg right into the stir fry? huh. never seen it done like that.

anyone have more like the chicken wraps or the brownrice,egg/meat thingy?

regular shin ramyun is basically the same as any other instant ramen. the noodles are maybe a little bit better.
shin ramyun black has better broth and a bunch of dried veggies in it.

neither of them are particularly spicy, i find.

>>5539760
An appropriate comparison would be genuine Mesican Coca Cola vs generic shit brand such as the one from Wal-Mart. Shin-Ramen is the best ramen if you love spicy food.

For anyone who is actually seriously poor and in danger of dying of hunger:
>Boil some rice, about two cups of rice to three cups of water, with about a tablespoon of salt
>Once done, immediately place into a bowl
>Whisk in three raw eggs.
>Season with pepper/soy sauce/dried meat/cilantro
You now have a warm meal that will keep you full.

I've discovered that I love putting a spoonful of creamy peanut butter into my ramen, right after I add the noodles to the simmering water. Flavor packet goes in after.

Makes the broth a bit heartier, and it can be as thick or thin as you like it depending on how much peanut butter you add. So far I've only tried it with Oriental and Shrimp Flavors, but so far so good.
