It looks like it's 2:30-3 ish in that picture (I just got it off google images). Also I don't know if that was taken during semester or on a week day. It tends not to look too empty most of the time I'm there.

I won't pretend the food is amazing or that I'm not a white dude from the northern suburbs but it's fine greasy food and you can load up on soy sauce and chili and if you've only got $4 in your pocket what the hell else are you going to do?

Also, when eating a plate like that, you gotta break into the eggs first, dip your toast into the runny yolk second, and then mix the remaining butter and yolk into your hash browns

The meat is frozen, and is thrown on the sear griddle, seasoned with a shaker cup of unknown magic powder and beaten with a spatula by a linecook with many anger issues.

For what it is? It's okay. Expect it to be grey with some light sear browning.

The best thing to get at Waffle House for the money is the "All Star Combo"; Coffee, Waffle, 2 eggs, Canadian bacon, hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast... for about $7.00

Yeah, agreed. The only bad WH experience I've had was in Alabama; all of the nigger employees were just standing around staring, and every single table and every single seating position at the counter had filthy dishes sitting on them with flies buzzing around.

I left, which is probably what they wanted. I'm just surprised anyone would have eaten there in the first place, but it must have happened in order for all the dirty place settings to have piled up.
