Some tap water tastes like metal and Chlorine, which taste bad.

I hate this feel.
I've stopped drinking tap water unless I'm really damn thirsty. Still completely fine for making tea with though.

I wouldn't say shit like that around here. The weebs get very anal when it comes to their tea.

Well, fuck them. Making tea from the water back home is actually more of a pain since it's full of lime. Kettle is just caked in limescale within weeks.

My dad threw out half a dozen good kettles before I taught him to descale them, it's quite easy.

I know it's not that hard, but I'm just a lazy sod. We end up having to do it a couple times a month, which isn't much but still.

something like this
You just need acid I think.

>> No.5518415

>>5518406
I use citric acid from the baking aisle, but you can just use lemon juice.

For a while I had this grapefruit tree that produced the most bitter and inedible fruit I've tasted and the juice from those worked pretty well.

>> No.5518443

>>5518406
Just use citric acid and water.
Boil it up a couple times.
Works like a charm

>> No.5519751

I used to be that person. A few years back I had a terrible cold and my head was hot like a campfire and my mouth was dry and nasty. I knew drinking a soda or something would just make me feel worse. We had a Brita pitcher for making coffee and I tried drinking a plain glass of water, and it was bliss. Somehow it made all of my symptoms less painful. Ever since then I drink almost exclusively water.

>> No.5519774

This really depends on where you live. Some water is fucking awful, and other water is absolutely delicious, while other water yet is entirely tasteless.

>> No.5519782

>>5518371
I really don't get what the fuck is so frustrating about this? Yeah, maybe if the person drinks nothing but sugary soda. But water really is bland and boring, especially when you don't drink anything else.

In my hometown the tap water is pretty good but my parents have a water machine so I use that since that water is colder. However in the town where I went to college the water tasted like hot tub water so I can understand not wanting to drink that.

Why don't you just get a filter, do those not work with lime?

Could you be more mad? If waters not intended to taste good, then why the hell are you complaining about people saying that's the reason they don't drink it.

I myself mostly drink water, but I admit, it's boring and bland, especially when you don't mix it up a bit. That's why I drink tea and coffee occasionally. I just find it funny when you autistic faggot get so buttstrated.

I've lived places where the tap water really was utterly wretched. There are places in the world - civilized, First-World places - where this is a sensible statement.

>> No.5519894

>>5519837
They do work with lime, but the problem is the lime builds up and clogs the filter and so you go through filters hella fast.

Drinking water makes dieting for weight loss so much less complicated.

The complete lack of viscosity is gag-inducing, it must be a mental thing
I can drink water in small bursts, but only if it's cold, and only if it's crystal clear (obviously I'd drink it if I was in a desert with no other choice)

I know someone who don't like the taste of water, but I can't picture her having a soda before she was 16.
But she's 60, in Yurop, from a rather poor family in the country side. So coke, for her, is like rock'n'roll music : something foreign and strange her parent don't approve of.
And she drinks chicory.

I'll have to investigate.
