Does anybody here have experience of eating condiments on their own?

Like, I'm sitting here eating Honey Mustard, because it's actually good on its own. I did the same with Dijon Mustard a but ago

I ate a jar of mayonnaise on a bet once.

Hey guys speaking of eating shit,

would eating honey on its own be just as bad as candy?

I'm thinking of replacing candy with hearing straight honey from here on out, but I'm not sure if it'll be any better, you know?

>> No.5496595

>>5496574
It won't be any worse.

>> No.5496613

>>5496574
Yeah, it's just as bad. You shouldn't be eating anything pure like that a lot. Would you eat straight butter? Constantly drink pure alcohol?

Once you adjust to not sucking down pure sugar, fruits and lightly sweetened foods taste better than overly sugar shit.

Blend 2 cups of mixed nuts in a food processor until it's almost like peanut butter, add 2 tbsp of softened butter, and slowly add honey until it's sweet enough. Add cinnamon, dried fruit, whole nuts if you want. Refrigerate until it's cold and then portion it out or just take a bit whenever you want. It's almost like halva.

Mix 1-2 teaspoons of honey or molasses into a glass of milk.

Eat fruit.

all the time

i have to be careful with steak sauce, i'll chug it and never have any left.

same with worcestershire which isn't exactly a condiment, but still.

i like to take condiment packs from convenience stores and eat em casually. mustards, bbq sauce, salsa, etc.

oh yeah, i love eating dijon packets to get that sudden hot-pungent spike.

I'll occasionally go to by fridge for "tasters" where I'll taste various condiments, pickles, jams, whatever is in there really. But no, I wouldn't just pick up a bottle of Grey Pupon and a spoon and go to town like I could with peanut butter or something.

synaesthesia is so funny. I also have a mild case, but for me, every letter and number has a different color and I see music. Food is an obsession, which may be why I'm a professional cook. I would never had associated purple with A!. When I think of A!, I see wood. (not slang, actual wood). Ketchup makes me see white tile. Mustard makes me see formica.

> Bear's head.

at least get some good mustard you fucking retard. get the kind with the crunchy little mustard seeds in it.

Boar's head is the crappiest, most mass produced company of "delicatessen" in the world. Their shit is NOT deli. The whole point of a delicatessen is it uses gourmet or limited ingredients, does it in small batches or uses local ingredients. Boar's Head is not a premium deli supplier as much as their a national, 100+ year old provision and distribution company.

Get some real mustard, fag.

Boar's Head markets itself and is sold by it's suppliers as if it's far better than it actually is, that is true, but there are far worse products out there that do a more despicable mockery of this sort. Doesn't Oscar Mayer run a number of "deli /style/" products? But then my second issue with Boar's Head is their unjustified over-pricing, and that can't fool everyone with a fancy label and marketing. But it does often work.

They aren't terrible though, and there are worse things out there, but they are also not worth their price for me.

Let us not forget though that in smaller cities which brands like this may reach due to locality and other brands not reaching suppliers in a given area, I don't blame anyone for feeling they've taken a step up by trying the "le gourmet" (haha) option at the store. But then... it's pretty fucking easy to research online and buy some truly good shit from almost anywhere in the world, shipped to just about anywhere as well.

Apologies for long, exaggerated post, I'm feeling all (less anti) social with my drink tonight.
