>Chipotle will start serving non-gmo foods soon, I just know it!

Don't they serve GMO stuff when they run out of non-GMO stuff?

You should be able to specifically choose non-gmo foods as an option rather than first come first serve.

But then who would choose GMO food?

Former Chipotle employee here. Almost everything they use is non-GMO, except for the soybean oil and either the tomatoes or corn for the salsas (I don't remember). But it's literally like 2 things.

Well I mean of course they could charge a bit more, but damnit they promised it when they came out with their sofritas tofu burrito. I knew they were full of shit, I called it out when i first heard about the sofritas here.

I know I'm probably about as welcome here as a nazi in florida, but I am a genetic engineer.

GMO foods aren't inherently bad, its just they most companies make them as shitty as possible purely for profit.

If I had my own company I promise I could do a better job.

You're preaching the gospel to a horde of hell's demons that happened to be obsessed with the words 'natural', 'organic', 'non-gmo', and other marketing based terms, who also happen to base their diets on anecdotal evidence, secondhand information, news reports that condense years of information into sub 3 minute stories, and articles written by self proclaimed experts. /ck/'s 'health experts' truly are a plague upon the earth.

Focus on quality over quantity. Don't overextend yourself, and remember if your company gets larger then (predetermined amount that will cut into some company's profits), they'll try to buy you out.

None the less, good luck with it, the IDEA is never really the problem, it's how it's gone about.

It's too late, every retard around the world is too afraid of GMOs. I don't know who first started the anti-GMO campaign, but as much as I hate them, they sure did a great job.

you think you can do better than mother nature?

Its not a matter of 'can we do this?' but should be a matter of 'should we do this?? ' very different.

We wont know the true impact of GMOs in the wild for generations to come. Also, are you planning on doing feeding experiments in humans too? good luck on that one

You can thank monsanto for ruining it for everyone.

>> No.5488800

Meh. Given that there's been hundreds upon hundreds of tests done in all sorts of different places that haven't found any health concerns in GMO foods, if I was an anti-GMOer I would be cashing in on knowing something that the entire scientific world has backwards.
