These are my favorite of the brand names. They i've even tried to replicate the flavor myself and fail every time.

Try something different like green beans or okra. Also, make your own.

the ones that come individually wrapped also seem to taste better.

The ones you get from the massive tub and bag yourself at the store. They are like eating heaven.

I like these a lot too. All that tasty garlic flavor...mmm.
I prefer the ones sliced into chips because they're really crunchy.

Not a brand but try Russian pickles. It's more sweet and less sour which I prefer. Also, I prefer refrigerator pickles over the ones on the shelves.

Russian pickles come in different varieties.

They are usually Dill pickles... and there are sweet varieties and non-sweet varieties of this. I prefer the LESS sweet ones... because i dont like the sweetness of american pickles. I like my pickle to be a litte tart.

There's also malosol - which means little salt and those are pickles that are basically only half-way pickled. Its a cross between a cucumber and a pickle, very mild and refreshing. These are my second favorite.

but russian people have been pickling things for ages and still do. its a part of culture. every grandma has her own recipe for them. So you can't say "Russian pickles are sweeter"
