These. They taint anything they touch. Even when you pick them out of something... you still taste them.

looks neat on the plate?

I mean I'm pretty sure the only reason put red cabbage in their mixed salad is for color.

still not as evil as raw onion
You can't get that taste, or even the smell, outta your burger once they're in there.

And to past-McDonalds who did minced onion on their kid's meals? FUCK YOU WHY WOULD YOU THINK A KID WANTS THAT

no way, raw onion is great on burgers. minced sucks though, minced is only right for dogs/sausages. burgers need sliced onions.

I'm not fond of sweet pickles, but a mix of bread and butter pickle (also quite sweet) slices and sliced jalapenos is truly heavenly.

I hate bread & butter pickles except for in ham salad

it seems like adding the spicy jalepenos might balance out the disgusting sweetness of the brine

Whenever I'm cooking a hamburger, I place the lettuce, onions, bacon, and dill pickles for the hamburger on a plate and line up the Cholula hot sauce and the mustard.

When I put the dill pickles on the plate, I always put about three or four times as much as I will actually put on the hamburger so that I can much on them while waiting.

One thing that really struck me as odd was a niece who was about 6 years old at the time getting into a pickle jar and munching on them. The pickle jar was nearly out, but she still ate a lot of pickles before running out.

It does. I can't stand to eat them otherwise.

One thing I do on occasion is buy a jar of dill pickles and a jar of jalapenos, drain much of the juice from each jar, and then mix them all together. After a few days of sitting there, the pickles are really great. The only problem is that you need to finish them off within two or three months or they become nearly indistinguishable from the jalapeno peppers. I learned this trick from a barbecue restaurant when I was a kid.
