I fucking love avocados, I eat so many of them during the spring and summer.

To any other avocado lovers lurking the thread, here's my delicious, idiot-proof recipe for guacamole:

Ingredients

1 avocado
1 medium clove of fresh garlic
1 lime
pinch of salt

Open the avocado, spoon it into a bowl, and smash it to your desired consistency with a fork. Cut up the clove of garlic (or use a garlic crusher if you're not a total pleb) and mix it in. Mix in the pinch of salt. Cut the lime in half, squeeze the lime until the guacamole is as tart as you want. I use around a teaspoon or more of lime juice.

That's it! Dip corn chips in it, put it on sandwiches, eat it with a spoon, whatever. Four ingredients, takes two seconds to make.

If you haven't eaten it all at once (why?) and want to save the rest, put it in a tupperware container, squeeze the lime over the top, press clingwrap directly onto the guacamole, then cover with the lid. This is the only way I've tried that keeps it from browning, but if anyone knows another way, I'm definitely interested!

I eat avocados raw. Where I live most stores price them at about $1 each. However, if I go to Aldi they are $0.35 each. The only caveat is that they aren't ripe. It usually takes a couple days in a paper bag with a banana to ripen them up.
