We had one of these canisters in the fridge so I tried this out. It was a tasty as hell way of preparing it since the pockets held the glaze really well, I'd be interested in trying it out with a recipe from scratch next time. Definitely made me curious what other doughs and batters would taste great in a waffle iron.

They taste better in their original format. Don't wafflate them. The waffle iron hardens the dough and limits the rising potential.

I tried them for breakfast once. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't eat too many of them without feeling bloated and sick.

The thing that comes out is clearly not the thing that went in.

If it's clearly not what went in, can you prove it?

Cinnabon rolls don't go from spirals to perfect, perpendicular lined waffles, just because you put them into a waffle iron.

I appreciate OC, and am fully embracing web'um - it's a clear game changer - but OP's jiff is clear bait.

You don't think that it expands while cooking? I've put cookies and biscuits too close in the oven and they've merged.

yes they do, thats the whole point of a waffle iron to make perfectly lined waffles

I'm trying to research the shape of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Cinnabon Cinnamon and I'm seeing two types.

http://cinnamonrollsrecipe.com/category/cinnabon-cinnamon-rolls/

There's this which looks like the rolls in the video, just dough with cinnamon inside of it mixed together and then made into a swirl.

And some look like the attached file with the cinnamon not mixed in with the rest of the dough, though the page didn't say it was the Cinnabon variant.

It looks real to me, it's just using the dough with the cinnamon mixed together instead of separate.

This would work fine and it was the dough shown in the video.

Verdict: Not a troll.
