I follow most of those, but peanut butter shouldn't be refrigerated? What about the fresh ground stuff?

It keeps in the cupboard for 3 months, but last twice as long in the fridge. That usually isn't necessary, since I eat it all in 3 months.

Storing coffe in the freezer ruins it. Th cold causes the oils to rise to the surface of the beans, where they quickly degrade with air contact

thats why when my sister comes to visit no french toast, waffles or pancakes. i only have real maple syrup and she wont use anything other than aunt jemima's

her german boyfriend finds aunt jemima's hilarious. say the name or he sees the bottle and 10 minutes of chortling and jokes. one time he left the room and came back wearing that bandana and his shirt was stuffed. now imagine a tall blonde guy dressed like aunt jemima comes in and tries talking like a big black southern lady but with a thick german accent.

>> No.5318199

>>5315964
Depends on the pickle. Truly fermented ones probably will, quick pickles (like most commercial ones) probably won't.

That said, the best reason to keep pickles of any kind in the fridge is because a cold pickle is the world's greatest snack.

It's a condiment. Deal with it.

>> No.5318479

Filling it with stuff that cannot absorb a lot of heat like chips and crackers is kind of silly, though. Jugs of water or other liquids are best for taking up space in an otherwise empty fridge.

I stick everything in the fridge because I have access to swift heating mechanisms, but chilling mechanisms are less swift.
Fridges are also quite spacious and have handy shelf thingies.

Chilling foods dumbs down certain aspects of the taste.
For example melted ice cream is very sweet.
