Post foods from where you live, ideally shit you can't easily find elsewhere. Mostly for amerifats but Yurops are welcome to post as well.

A relatively unheard of spot in Kansas City Kansas, Papa Bob's, has some of the best sauce I've ever tried. The place is ridiculously overlooked since it's not in the city, and somewhat of a hole in the wall, but their "Bobanero" sauce is fantastic. Would recommend checking it out.

Southern NY/Northern PA, a particular kind of meat dish called a Spiedie, pronounced just like speedy. Made with 1 inch cubes of meat, marinated in a vinegary, herby dressing for at least 24 hours, preferably grilled over coals on metal skewers, usually served as a sandwich on soft Italian bread. Wrap the slice of bread right around the skewer and pull the meat off. Also good with rice or noodles.

>Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was founded by Lois Margolet in 1976. After Margolet quit her full-time job, borrowed money, and purchased an abandoned building on North Union Street in the Little Italy section of Wilmington, Delaware, where she joined forces with her brother, Alan Margolet, to open the first Capriotti’s store. The Margolets named the restaurant after their grandfather, Philip Capriotti.[3]
In 1987, the Margolets began partnership with their cousin, Diane Rizzo. Shortly thereafter, a second Capriotti’s store in New Castle, DE and a third in Newark, DE were opened. Also at this time, Capriotti’s started introducing their signature sandwiches, such as “the Bobbie,” which are still available today.
A year after opening the Newark, DE store, Lois Margolet sold the store’s interest to Rizzo’s sister, Kathy. The Newark location became the first franchised Capriotti’s store.[4]
The family eventually relocated to Las Vegas, the site that would become home to dozens of Capriotti’s restaurants. The first Las Vegas Capriotti’s store opened in April 1993.

Ive made that pilgrimage many times before. Nothing better than a new bong and a fap magazine. But the main attraction was pic related. The empty ones were scattered all over the gravel parking lot.
The trip was not complete until you were really high, got the munchies and went to the Mars Cheese Castle. And of course laughing at the sign for the Bong Recreation Area.

I will definitely agree with cubans. A place I go to makes a garlic mayo that just ties it all together perfectly.

Florida is the shittiest place in the world when it comes to seafood of all things. Unless you're going to a nice place meant for tourists, it's farm raised tilapia and imported fish. I can get better seafood at a better price in NH, which has all of 3 miles of coast.

Really though, if I had to pick a "florida only" thing, it would be the food growing everywhere falling on the fucking ground because people don't care that it's edible. Pic related; delicious and every house I drive by with a loquat tree is just covered in fruit. I'd pull over to snag some but the homicidal drivers would murder me for slowing down on a main road.
