Need advice for reheating soup plz

I froze a bunch of vegetable soup that I made. I've been reheating it so far by dropping the frozen block into a saucepan and heating it over low flame until it all melts (takes like 30 minutes).

This is a pain in the ass because I have to constantly stir or else the already melted portion overheats and boils. It also means I have to wash out the saucepan every time I want to reheat some soup.

Anyone have other advice?

nuke it for a bit then put on stove
then use MONGO power

Put the frozen portions in bags, seal the bags and then boil the bags. pretty simple and fairly standard procedure for this sort of thing

If it is a vegetable, non cream based soup, then there is no reason to worry about it boiling. I would just put a lid on it and crank the heat to max. If you have any way to break up the block before this, it would be even better.

Take the frozen portion out of the freezer the night before you're going to eat it and put it in the refrigerator. Let it thaw over night and you'll be able to quickly reheat the liquid.

A double boiler might work.
