Bought some frozen octopi from my local chinky store. What can I do with them?

boil em, mash em, put em in a stew.

Cooking them would be my first guess.

octo-pops

Blend them and make octopus smoothies

Thaw them.
Wash them.
Dust with tenderiser and set aside for 20 minutes; meanwhile, mix 1 cup of food starch (corn, potato, whatever) with 2tbsp each of salt and pepper.
Divide out a quarter of the FS/S&P mixture and mix it with just enough water to make a thin batter.
Shake the octopi with the dry mixture, then bathe in the wet mixture then shake again with the dry mixture.
Deep-fry at 175°C/350°F until lightly golden, then remove from the oil and place into a warm oven.
Prepare the rest of your meal: some rice, stir-fried greens, a simple broth and various pickles.
Consume crispy-fried octopus dinner and be merry.

thaw them out
go to a red wings playoff game
throw them on the ice like everyone else

I dunno if I'm doing it "right" because I never looked up how to cook octopus but it comes out nice when I make it this way
>thaw it out
>boil it
>fry it in a pan with loadsabutter
Combined with the butter, it makes it taste like lobster
Careful when boiling it, too long makes it rubbery, and too long is only like 5 minutes
