I used to work at a Steak n Shake! They're really disgusting. The one I worked at was open 24 hours, so there was no clear "end to the day" when all the old food would be thrown out. It was never anyone's set responsibility to throw out the old chili or soups, so they sat in the heating compartment thing for several days at a time.

And the regular milkshakes are all at least 2000 calories.

No they're not. The large Peanut Butter Cup shake is the most, with 1220 calories. Most of the "regular" sized milkshakes are 600-800 calories.
