Mushrooms on toast appreciation thread

Quick, delicious, filling, fairly low calorie, and above all, cheap

NOPE...mushrooms are like 2.99/lb for the low quality, factory farmed boring button variety and significantly more for better varieties. I can buy real food for that price or less.

Hrm, that's more expensive than here.
Plain button mushrooms are fine for this though, they're easily seasoned for lots of flavour.

USD? I live in Philadelphia. The most button mushrooms go for where I shop is $1,99/lb. Usually, they're $1/lb. Where do you live? Where do you shop?

Mushrooms are also the GOAT pizza topping that is under appreciated.

$2.99# here too but a pound goes further than you'd think

especially if you chop them up and mix them with ground beef and green peppers for best sloppy joes

Mushrooms are godly on pizza.

They're godly in pretty much anything, to be honest.

A shame my flatmate doesn't like them.

Step 1:Buy olives
Step 2:Eat them (don't eat the stone)

It's a little complex, I sometimes accidentally eat the olives before I buy them and realise that I've bitten off some of my tongue. If your olive tastes of blood and there's a sharp stinging sensation in your mouth, you forgot to put the olive in there first, try to avoid this.

A pound of mushrooms is like 100 mushrooms
