I browse /ck/, /g/, /b/, and /sp/, and i'd say this board probably has the least amount of assholes out of those. I only come here because food interests me, despite not being passionate about cooking it myself. I'm the kinda guy who loves watching cook shows but has no interest in preparing anything i see on them myself.

The quality of postings on /ck/ has declined in the last 6 months, to the point that I see fewer and fewer posts by the superposters who are extremely knowledgeable in a given area. They really carried the board.

The fast food threads have just as much a place here as anything else, but seeing the front page full of them with little variation in subject is frustrating.
