Does /ck/ eat the skin of grilled or roasted chicken?

>> No.5067249

yes

>> No.5067251

Uh, its the best part

>> No.5067259

Yes. Why the fuck would they season it if it wasnt supposed to be eaten?

>> No.5067260

Duh.

>its the best part
What this guy said.

>> No.5067272

ITT: garbage eaters

>> No.5067278

as with any food, it depends on how it's cooked, but generally if the cook left the skin on then you should eat it anyway or they would have fucking took it off

You: a Fatty McFatass that thinks he'll lose weight if he doesn't eat the skin

Take a look at yourself. You don't eat the skin and you're a fat sack of shit.

Now look at us, healthy weight individuals that eat all that delicious skin that's supposedly so "bad" for our health.

That all may be true but it doesn't address the fact that you eat what everyone else throws in the garbage.
Dumpster diner.

When I was a kid, I had a friend that had a Mexican father. He used to suck on chicken fat at the dinner table.

>> No.5067296

ITT: major ignorance

It's not just the fat in it that's a problem. It also causes cancer (no joke, look it up!)

>what everyone else throws in the garbage.
Just because you grew up in a family of fat fucks that threw away the chicken skin, doesn't mean everyone else did.

putting parts of a living thing killed for consumption in the garbage is for wasteful, spoiled children and americans.

And here I am not giving a fuck.

Depends if it's properly cooked or not.

This is a shitty argument considering how small a portion it is, and to add to that it doesn't even contain much nutrition. Now wether it taste good or bad is for you guys to decide, there's nothing wrong with eating the skin, nor with throwing it away imo.

>> No.5067449

A rare holdover of my childhood is that I still dislike the texture of chicken skin, unless it's fried. I still keep it on for cooking because that fat adds so much flavor. Also, schmaltz.

>> No.5067548

I generally do eat the skin, but I sometimes skip it if it's soggy and not seasoned enough.

I also prefer potatoes with their skin on, same as apples, carrots and oranges.
