IS IT THAT FUCKING HARD TO PUT AN IMAGE GUIDE IN YOUR BOX SO WE KNOW WHAT THE FUCKING CANDIES ARE

SERIOUSLY

The mystery is part of the fun.

But they're all good. So it doesn't matter.

Im with you OP, I got an unmarked box of chocolates for Christmas and the 2nd one I tried had nuts in it, and Im deathly allergic to nuts.

inb4 not knowing is someone fun. I could have died tonight

>> No.5049837

Is it that fucking hard to eat a candy and enjoy the flavor without being told what you're supposed to notice before hand?

So read the ingredients label.

>not cutting the item in half to inspect its interior, or just passing on a confection that regularly has nuts in it and comes without an ingredients list to check

I'm glad you're not dead but why, everyone I've met with serious (i.e. they could die) are hyper vigilant about everything they eat

>>5049849
some have nuts in them, some dont. The ingredients dont tell you which are which

(serious allergies)

also didn't even look at op's pic. any time I pass a see's I have to get a blueberry truffle and a small bag of chocolate covered raisins. so good

>>5049853
Even if some don't have nuts, the other ingredients were processes in a facility and on equipment that processes nuts, so there's bound to be some bits of nuts/residue/etc. in them anyway. If you're that deathly allergic to nuts, you shouldn't be eating them at all if there's a chance that they were exposed to nuts in any way at all.

>eating something out of a box containing things that are allergens

if they aren't that severe, roll the dice, live a little

But I eat the ones without nuts in them all the time and never had a problem. I dont think cross contamination is really a problem. They say that to cover their asses

Last time I accidentally ate something cooked in peanut oil I woke up in the hospital with my face so swollen I couldnt open my eyes

Just die already

same to you fucker

Russell Stovers have little image guides and they're better too.

>> No.5049952

I used to work at See's candy and was required to tell people that all the chocolates, even those without nuts, might contain nut allergens.

All the chocolates are made in the same machine. The only think not possibly carrying nut allergens are those lollypops.

Also, check out the mincemeat; it's fucking great.

You're working against natural selection here, faggots.
