I live in a 3rd world shithole and can't get any good hot sauces. I'm gonna order a bunch of them from the US, what should I get? I'm mostly looking to make some good wings. I've heard "Baby Ray's" is a good brand, is this true?

Also what are some good BBQ sauces?

Baby Rays makes great BBC sauce. Never tried hot sauce by them. But I personally like:
Chalula -great pepper flavor for breakfast stuff.
Franks Red Hot- is great for wings if you like vinegar based wing sauce.

Need to know what your using it for. But those are 2 of go to.

I'm hoping that was autocorrect and not Freudian, then I wonder why BBC is in your autocorrect

Franks, if you want to get technical, is the only hot sauce that you can use to make traditional hot wings. Any competitors made their formula from copying theirs. Seriously, 99% of bars and restaurants use Franks and butter as a base to make the standard "Hot" buffalo wings, and add more hot peppers or more butter to adjust the heat.

>vinegar based wing sauce

isn't vinegar a crucial component in wing sauce?

what makes it have such a unique flavor is the combination of vinegar and margarine. it's sour and buttery at the same time.

margarine...lol

baby rays is the best commercial bbq.

for wings franks is the best. toss wings in melted butter then toss is franks

chalula is good but i prefer tobasco esp with bfast foods their chipotle and verde are also very good.

of course you need pepper sauce(white vinegar and peppers) for greens and such

Chipotle Cholula is the shit.

As for BBQ sauce, the best you can do is make it yourself. It's really easy, you just need ketchup, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar and/or honey and heat it in a pan. You can also add rum, molasses, liquid smoke, bacon syrup or anything else.

Pic related are a few of my recommendations.

Also a fan of El Yucateco green habanero sauce which I finished so it's not in the pic.

Would defo skip Tabasco unless you're a big fan of vinegar. Also hardly hot enough to be interesting IMO.

Sweet Baby Ray's makes good BBQ sauce from the sugar-loaded varietal you normally see in grocery stores.
I wouldn't trust them to make a hot sauce suitable for buffalo wings though.
Why not make one yourself? You can use a real hot sauce like the ones mentioned for the heat.

>> No.5029894

the original wing sauce is simply a mix of a vinegar-based hot sauce like Frank's or Tabasco and melted butter.

did you consider to make your own sauce?
BBQ sauce shouldn't be a problem, Hot sauce depends on whether you can get decent chillis in your shithole
