Depressed because I'm about to go the the grocery store and I never know what to buy.

I end up walking back to my car with 50% reduced fat peanut butter and foie gras thinking "How the fuck did this happen?"

>> No.5015017

how about buying what you need? that's how most grocery stores are supposed to be used

>> No.5015019

Think about what you want to eat.
Make a list.
Take list to store.
Buy things on list.

It's not really a difficult process.

I need food, I know that going through the doors... but once I'm in there it's a different story

I don't know what to put on my list, going there in 10 minutes I'm thinking "I'm out of cream for my coffee and I have no food in the house"

Plan your meals. I personally find the grocery store shopping experience really frustrating unless I have atleast one planned meal in mind, since when I go to cook I'm inevitably missing something

>> No.5015113

No matter what I go in for, I always check for reduced meats and grab anything that looks nice. My local hanny's is pretty good with manager's specials too.
I do use the Remember the Milk app as a shopping list for the regular things that run out, milk, breat, deli meat, etc.

Well I'm back.

Bought cream, cashews, pizza pockets and deli department prepared meatballs that you cook in your own over.

Thanks /ck/
