Why do you all in this thread not try to teach these friends of yours how to cook, so you can mutually enjoy a good meal together, not just laugh at them on the internet?
I don't get it.

I was cooking a fresh, center piece of salmon fillet.

Cast iron skillet, moderate seasoning.
I added it to the pan and successfully turn it over to cook dat crispy skin..
New BF walks up and adds a half cup of water to the screaming hot pan full of oily fish

Only fail is if your hot dog didn't get a bun.

>she doesn't and doesn't care if something falls in her lap
>cleans her hands by wiping them on her jeans

I've already started giving her wipes whenever we're eating and she has started using them because she feels uncomfortable being "dirty" around me but I don't think it is a longterm solution.
Any ideas?

My girlfriends parents place for thanksgiving.

Turkey in oven (no brine, no stuffing, no rub, no Oil), driest and least flavorful thing I ever ate. Like chewing on paper.

Stuffing was literally stove top.

Mashed potatoes (no skin of course, in case a flavor accidentally got in), that was JUST mashed potatoes. No milk, no butter, I don't even know if there was salt.

Peeled the Brussels sprouts until they were about the size of Skittles, then BARELY steamed them, so it was basically just wet, raw Brussels sprout centers, with salt and pepper.

Canned black olives because you know how weird white chicks get fixated on one gross food item, and her sisters took down the whole can before dinner even started.

Oh and get this NO GRAVY. no fucking gravy. Said it was unhealthy.

Irish people man. Irish people. At least we were at my Italian family's thanksgiving before. Best bird I ever had (brined, smoked, and injected with garlic butter), big ol ham, an amazing stuffing, and my mothers special cranberries. She puts vanilla and pralines in it.

Any ideas? You get used to a bit of dirt- things don't have to be squeaky clean.

She sounds like a sane human being, you sound like you have serious problems. Do you start screaming if you get some crumbs on your lap?

We eventually broke up, I don't think my stomach could have handled that again.

My mom called that bubble up pizza, but it was biscuits on the bottom, sauce then cheese/meat because she's not retarded. She was a single mother with 5 kids. It was poor people food. Still kinda comforting.

He thought that it would help the fish cook faster like veggies.
The oil got absolutely everywhere and I undercooked the salmon because I couldn't take the damn grease popping.
