Cook it well and use a lot of spice mix. Plenty of ginger and chili.

I would fry it in butter with some lemon juice the capsicum a lot of coriander like 8 grams
then add carrots sliced thinly on the bias
the red onion cut to slivers
some fresh tomato cut as the onion
Some of the Great English mustard
Olives
Just a little mild and finish with the sun dried tomato

>> No.4989676

bin it

if it was beef or mutton id say go for it, but with pork and chicken you dont risk it

>> No.4989678

>>4989633
pork should be eaten fresh
there is a resting period, but it's only a few days and the packaged meat you usually get already has that time behind it.
so bin it, or have fun puking your guts out.

not too bad overall. plan changed along the way, didn't use that half lemon cuz i got carried away with other stuff. put in light soy sauce and mint sauce.

fuckups:
>too much beef stock after mint sauce and soy sauce. gonna take too long to reduce it. not sure what i was thinking. got rid of excess
>too much liquid when put tomatos in. mb too soon

regrets:
>no rice. doing some now
>no green
>not enough coriander
>beef stock
>perhaps will be sick soon

surprising win column:
>parsnip is the bomb in stir fry
>mint sauce works

overall. would eat again. when rice is done

Porkchan gonna get dat BACTERIAL GASTROENTERITIS. Drink lots of grapefruit juice to lower your stomach pH and reduce the chance of live pathogenic bacteria making it to the intestines. Pork loin chops are kill.

What I would do:

>Chop meat to cubes about 1cm x 1cm.
>Got any alcohol? Boil the meat 10 min in water + with some whisky/cognac/sake/vodka/other not-too-fragrant ~40% alcohol or in emergency, red wine (helps kill bacteria, adds taste)
>Get a pot suitable for stew or soup
>Oil on bottom, add 2 big slices of ginger, heat up on low heat
>Turn up heat, boil some water in another pot, chop 3 gloves of garlic, add to oil
>Add boiled chopped meat
>Add a liter of boiled water, add 2 beans of crushed capsicums
>Add some light soy, quite a lot of dark soy
>Slice the red onion, add
>Add some peppercorns, I'd say crush them
>Fennel seeds.. just a few, 4-6? Or a more even.
>You got cinnamon! Add a little if powdered, add one whole if stick
>Boil one hour, add water if needed
>The stuff shouldnt be too watery when done
>15 minutes before you are ready to eat, chop a carrot into triangle shaped pieces (or whatever you like), add to pot
>Got Rice? White bread? IF you have rice, that'd be great
>It is done after 1-1,5 hours of boiling! Make sure the sauce is not too watery
>Take out, move to a serving plate, decorate with your fresh coriander (perfect for this!)
>Eat with that rice preferably, get your own small rice bowl and scoop up the stuff on top, eat with chopsticks

It is chinese "Hong Shao Rou", and without a doubt the best you could do / could have done with that set of ingredients.

A round of applause please.

THIS, I cannot believe so many posts before someone got it right. This is freezer burn. Trim it off as it is disgusting, but it is harmless. based completely on the pictures of freezer burn, the meat is not spoiled.
