So, anyone pick up theirs yet?

My nearest Arby's isn't all that convenient to get to but I might make a drive just for this.

Inglehoffer is so middling it's not even funny. Their reputation is entirely because of the stylish little containers they use. Their hot isn't hot, their dijon is forgettable compared to Grey Poupon, their stone-ground might as well be yellow for all the flavor it doesn't have... I could go on.

I'll murder an Arby's roast beef sandwich with that sauce because who eats them plain?

Damned if I'll ever buy them in a store to put on anything else.

There's many better tasting bbq sauces and horseradish sauces than theirs.

Do you always eat fast food? Do you want to always eat fast food at home? How about you buy our sauces and also buy some of our products and combine them and have them at home! This way you can double your fast food intake. And you love fast food. This is your culture and you were born to dig fast food. This is your nation. This is hamburger country.

This stuff is very similar to Quiznos horsey sowse, which is my favorite. Just wish it wasn't so runny.

I won't be keeping either around tho. I always fuck up and put it on too many foods and ruin them. No matter how much you love horseraddish, it just doesn't fuckin work on baloney, turkey, ham... Or pretty much anything except hot beef action.

Is that what Americans call horseradish sauce, or is it something different?

>> No.4931731

>>4931723

It's just for Arby's, it's like how KFC isn't actually chicken, and/or their illiterate customers can't pronounce "horseradish" and "chicken", respectively. Most Americans rarely if ever set foot in Arby's, it's a failing fast food chain for the scum of the scum.

Say what you want about Arby's but they have nice interiors. I was at one to pick up a sandwich for my dad and I go in and there's 2 flatscreen TVs in there. The rest of it was completely empty, no customers, but damn if it wasn't luxurious in there with those TVs and nice green carpeting.

Nah, horseraddish is horseraddish. Horsey sauce is a proprietary mix, has a sulfury-mayonnaise flavor too it, and not nearly as hot as undilluted horseraddish.

Frisch's (Big Boy) sells their tartar sauce in jars, but it is similar but not identical to what is at the restaurant. Its kind of a tease. They don't want you being able to duplicate the dining room experience I guess.

It's a relic of the time between the start of the 24-hour news cycle, and the current era where everyone just has their faces in their smartphones. The ones in my area are perma-tuned to HLN or some shit, in what was presumably a yuppie-bating strategy from ten years ago.

4931617 here. It's absolutely the same. Ironically, having a bottle on hand makes me be a little more stingy with it than if I were in a restaurant with endless packets - I don't want to run out right away. I used both sauces on a homemade burger yesterday and they were great as always, although, surprisingly, the Arby's Sauce was the standout. I guess it really is kind of unique for a BBQ sauce. Horsey Sauce is good too but there are definitely better horseradish sauces out there, Bookbinder's for example.

>> No.4936305

>>4934711

it's like any other fast food place. you go there for a specific taste. you don't go to mcd's for burgers, you go there for mcd's because it's a reliable taste that's never changed and despite being trashy and pleb there's still something about it you want/need. same with arby's although their prices have been out of control which is why I'm guessing they've been declining
