In Slovenia we call it krvavica and it's usually served with sauerkraut w/ pork rinds(not the disgustingly huge english ones) and sometimes with mixed beans and potatoes. Shit's delicious.

Is there a difference between black pudding and blood sausage? I tried researching a bit and found nothing.

Anyway, Quebecfag here and most non-immigrants here have tried it at least once. Unfortunately, regular consumption is decreasing (it's considered more of a traditional old people thing) and most young people don't really eat it because it's supposedly icky. In France we have something similar, boudin noir. Taste's a bit stronger, usually ate with apples or something sweet in autumn. Pic in next post.

I would imagine it being just as "healthy" as a normal sausage.
Also have you ever made blood sausages? I don't have equipment or ingredients to make sausages, would it make any sense to make meatloaf with blood?

Irish in Canada, black pudding is the king but it's expensive as shit for frozen imported pudding here. I miss it, I'd eat it all the time if it was here and tasted as good. This country needs to be shown the joy of a proper breakfast roll too.
