Can we have an obscure cereal thread?

I used to have this cereal, fuck, maybe a decade plus ago when I was a little kid, and I remember it being awesome and then suddenly vanishing. I was at the grocery store yesterday and it blew my mind that they still make this stuff, I thought it got axed years ago.

Honestly, it's just as good as I remember it being, if not better. Tastes like Cap'n Crunch but less cloyingly sweet with much better texture, and stays crunchy for a good long time. A+ cereal, would recommend.

What's your favorite less-than-well-known cereal, /ck/?

I honestly haven't seen them since the early 2000s.

Yeah, this is a popular cereal. Not saying it isn't god tier.

I don't have a pic, but Trader Joe's sells this nuts-ginger-cluster cereal that's fucking orgasmic. At least, they did last time I bought dry cereal for myself to eat, which was about a year ago. But it was really, really delicious.

HHHNNNNGGG yesssshhh I love this cereal --- I don't buy it because I eat the whole box in like one sitting.

Vanilla almond and maple pecan. Dunno if there are others, but the ginger one is just ungodly.

Aldi (which iwns TJ's) used to offer that same ginger variety. I found it okay. It had two other flavours, as well: vanilla blueberry almond and mango coconut masala chai.
For me, it went mango, blueberry, ginger from best to good.
Aldi stopped carrying all three and now has these awful ones (maple pecan, which is too sweet, and wild berry, which is just bad).

I mean, how much you like the ginger one is probably pretty in proportion with how much you like ginger to begin with. I fucking love ginger and have never seen another ginger cereal, so that one left an impression on me.

I go through a pound/half kg of ginger biweekly. I love the stuff and use it in sweets as well as savouries, but found that cereal lacking. Keep in mind, it's been seven or so years now so I don't quite recall just what I disliked about it exactly, sorry.
I've been searching for a replacement mango chai granola since.

Quaker Oatmeal Squares is yummy flavored, too. My favorite "plain" cereals are Grape Nut Flakes and Cracklin' Oat Bran. I like any muesli- or granola brands. Fruit, nuts? Love it.

Krave chocolate looks disgustingly sugary, but a decently mild satisfying midnight snack. Chocolate melts inside like it does in a croissant. It's not the crack of say a Reese's puffs.

I end up with extremely low blood sugar about an hour after I eat cereal. It's not worth the crash, so I gave up on it.

I loved both of these cereals but they were so good I would eat them as soon as I poured the milk over em.

The ohs would cut the fuck out of my mouth and the bran would be like gravel... tasty gravel.

Same for me, plus the roof of my mouth. Same goes for Cap'n Crunch, which would be my favorite cereal if it didn't fuck up my mouth royally

A fitting substitute for my childhood sugar cereals.

But why are any flavors besides almond and honey so fucking hard to find?

My cereal was Kibg Vitaman. It's mostly popular in SC.
