Hey /ck/
When you're hungry and want to make something very simple, what do you make?

>pic semi-related, but I've never tried it and I don't have any tomato soup or sliced cheese right now

OP here, I usually just whip up an omelette with what I have in the fridge. Ham, cheese, bacon, sausage, chicken, whatever I can find.

Warm bruschettas with cheese. (Essentially mini pizzas, but fancy)

-Sliced baguette things
-Tomato passata
-Grated mature cheddar cheese

If you want to be extra fancy, brush some olive oil over the sliced baguettes and add some chopped (or better yet, caramelised) onions and garlic.

Put the passata and grated cheese on, place in oven for 5-10 minutes. Job done.

That is a disaster waiting to happen. Won't the cheese just ooze out of the sides?

I can hear the SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS now

shuss, not suposed to tell any one, but once ina while a cheap thick slice of balona a slice of cheese ( careful, not the stuff you have to peel plaSTIC FROM. and don't hit caps lock, for gods sake. add some pickle . nuke it. ( that is really politically incorrtect). while there fininshany stray drinks, and creep back into bed. If asked, give the standard reply. I was just checking, and let the dog out. ( this does not work if your dog has been dead many years, no matter how many you have had. Dogs don't lie and you cannot say let the cat out, cause you got a litter box right there, plus cats are worse than you are , why do you think lions guard gates, and not dogs. ever seen a cat on a leash? and then you say. I was just streaching.. yawan. and go lay down kind of off track...

I tried it, OP. bretty gud

I used Colby cheese though. And I had to add a few things to the Progresso tomato basil soup. It was kind of bland.

One more thing I wanted to add: they are kind of a bitch to stay rolled up. They wouldn't fully unravel, but they would open up sometimes in my skillet and cheese would leak out. Only a small bit though. You can't press them too firmly or the bread will tear and you will have even a bigger cheese leakage problem.

usually i just eat raw foods- fruit, nuts, seeds. but if you have to feel clever and actually assemble a snack, toast with peanut butter and banana slices is god-tier quick food.

that looks absolutely disgusting. why do americans burn everything and put cheese everywhere?

>> No.4814736

Cheese, tuna and tomato toasty. Butter one side of each slice of bread; Grate a bit of cheese on the none butter side. Then drain your can of tuna and smush it up with some tomato puree and shove it on that bad boy; bit more cheese and then slap on the other slice of bread. Make your frying pan hot slap that bad boy in there, cook till both sides are slightly brown and throw on a plate. you need to let it cool because that cheese and tomato mixture is like molten lava. Take the cooling time to get yourself another beer or two. Shove the dirty pan in the sink, cos, fuck it, somebody else will wash it up.

Oh and slice it in triangles, no other way will do. Takes 15 minutes max.

Just make a normal cheese sammich and cut it in half.
It's the same thing, just a different shape.
