>all you can eat buffet
>includes lobsters, king crab legs, oysters, filet mignon, prime rib...
>2 hour time limit
>price includes taxes, gratuity, and non-alcoholic drinks
>$88 per person

So, /ck/, would you do the Nordic Lodge?

>> No.4770605

that is a little high, I live in a place where seafood is plentiful. I would say closer to $45, no time limit (that shit is gay) and gratuity included. Even places like Tejas de Brazil don't charge that much and they serve large portions of various steaks and other meat dishes until you tell them to stop. Dessert and booze is extra.

>> No.4770613

That's too expensive. I don't feel like I could possibly eat 88 dollars worth of food in 2 hours. If it was alcohol included, it would be great. But it isn't.

Also I think that buffet seafood usually ends up overcooked on the warming trays. I'd rather take the money and cook the food on different nights when I could enjoy it rather than trying to stuff 88 dollars worth of food down my gullet in one night or feel ripped off.

>> No.4770620

I would, assuming the meat and seafood is cooked correctly. If it's mediocre, then no.

if so I would take a whole bunch of lobsters, eat the tails and toss the rest

2 hour time limit isn't enough though, when I go to a buffet I am there for 3-6 hours without taking a break. I don't want to feel rushed while I eat.

>> No.4770664

>>4770648

Not that guy but I too can get all that, save the lobster, from my 13 dollar chinese buffet, no time limits. At that price difference I say buy and cook the lobsters yourself and eat them when you get home.

And there is some pretty fucking great sushi there too. I'd go to the chinese buffet any day before I'd drop 88 bucks to be shooed out after two hours.

>> No.4770680

>do you get penalized for wasting food?

From what I've heard it sounds like they expect food to go to waste (like any buffet really). I really doubt they're going to make you eat the lobster leg meat before you can go back for more.

They also only let you take one lobster at a time because, let's face it, eat 4-5 lobsters and you've pretty much gotten your money's worth.

So, /ck/, would you do the Nordic Lodge?

fuck these faggots. They can go back to Skyrim for all I care. Prolly actually really run by Kahjits. What do you have a clock that counts down from 2 hours? I think long as you are being respectable you're ok. If you're camping out then they can use their destruction spells on you or whatever.

Also some of the mid grade to even nice buffets in vegas are better than that price and offer the same and prolly more. You place is not really a "value deal," it's more for the faggot who can't decide what he has to have and instead can get a little bit of everything and pay the luxury price to do so.

It's one of those things (if you live near them) you do maybe a couple times a year just for the exp I guess. 2 hours is enough time if you go in hungry, which would be the smartest thing to do, but being rushed while eating is never fun.

You aren't going to get a single 1.5 pound lobster, freshly killed, for anything less than $18, which is the most expensive buffet I've seen so far from in this thread.
