I honestly have to say this was a damn good taco.

It tastes good and it doesn't feel like it's killing you to eat it.

And it has just the right amount of spicy; it doesn't burn your mouth, but it definitely bites a little.

Why can't all fast food be this good?

If you honestly think that Taco Bell is ever spicy then you are just hypersensitive or a child. Still tastes good though, in a really trashy sort of way.

I drove up to the drive through and asked the lady if she thought it was good. She said she didn't think it was bad. So I order one, and the powder on the outside tasted sugary? I was just like what the fuck and finished it, but I didn't think it tasted very good. It reminded me of those sweet and spicy doritos that taste like chinese food in a way. Anyways, the taco was pretty shitty, and I'm a taco bell regular. Overall 3/10.

Again, not impressed. Shells do not taste nor remind me of Doritos in any way. I’ve never gotten Doritos that tasted this salty either. So because you haven't heard something used in a certain way means that you're right.

Things can have bite and not be spicy. Bite can be something unexpected or out of nowhere. I've heard people refer to Cool Ranch Doritos as having bite, and those certainly aren't spicy.

Also, since I've heard it, it's right.

I literally just got done eating some Doritos Locos tacos. For some reason, even though I just ordered the 3 supremes combo, they threw in an extra regular Locos.

I agree with OP. In my opinion, it's probably the best of the Doritos Locos line. I'll admit, my expectations for it weren't all that high, but I'll be damned if it isn't worth the $2 you pay for it. Now if only they can either improve the Cool Ranch taco.

Dorito with spicy dorito shell

>> No.4763408

>>4763176
The shells are actually made by Tyson, my dad used to bring home fuck huge boxes of the extra tortilla chips, tortillas, even the flatbreads (they make great mini-pizzas), hell once he brought home two fuck huge bags of those colored strips they put on the salads. They make everything to order so all the extras just sit by the door for employees to take home.

The only difference between the normal shells and the red ones is food coloring and the oven temp. The red ones for whatever reason like to burn more than normal shells so they cook them at a slightly lower temp.

>Did they bring back the Volcano Taco?

I was just going to come in and say it never left. and that the entire Volcano Menu is still around. (Taco, Burrito, and Nachos).

I was there about 6 months ago, and they still were. They fucked up my order something fierce, though, and haven't been back since.

Just to make sure, I looked on their website, and lo and behlod, no more Volcano menu.

What. The. Fuck.

The Volcano Burrito and Nachos were pretty good. The Volcano sauce was always a nice addition, even to other items on the menu...

Do you think the Volcano sauce is still around at least? At special request, possibly?

I'd much rather have the Volcano menu than the Doritos Locos Tacos. I don't see why they can't have both, or maybe not so many of the Doritos Locos.

I would guess it's because they don't want an abundance or excess of "flavored" shells laying around, if people aren't going to be ordering a lot of them, and having them go to waste.

Oh, I realize this, and was not disputing it. Simply that if one is strictly calorie counting, in vs out, that adding things isn't going to lower or lessen calories. Also adding lettuce to an already "unhealthy" thing such as fast food isn't going to negate the grease, salt, and fat. If they like lettuce, motr power to them, though. But fast food lettuce is usually wilted, brown, and not fresh (at least in my experience). I like lettuce, but not at fast food. I ask for it off, not because I don't like veggies, but because the quality of it is bad. Imo.
