Need new ground beef recipes. Regularly cook hamburgers, meat loaf, mince and spinach pie, burrito-like things. Tried several "taco pie" recipes, but they've all sucked so far. Easy to cook recipes a big plus.

turn ground beef into seasoned taco meat. mix with macaroni and cheese and a can of Ro Tel.

Chilli! About a thousand possible versions of this.
Ragu (bolognaise sauce). Again, many possible variations from the very authentic (a bit bland) the the classic non-Italian versions heavy on garlic and herbs, and everything in between
Minced-beef stew. Can easily make a half-dozen versions of it.
Shepherd's pie.
Cornish pasties.
Samosas.

Need more?

More are of course welcome. Shepherd's pie is one of those things that I keep hearing about, but have never tried. Maybe it is time for it.

Cottage pie

Sear the beef in a pan and add onion garlic and grated carrot. Once softened, add some red wine, thyme, rosemary, sage, bay leaf, salt, pepper and chicken stock. Simmer until it's juicy but not watery. Put into a dish and top with a layer of mashed potato, finally grating cheese on the top. Put in the oven until the cheese is golden brown or under a grill.

Is using instant mash acceptable, or will that invoke murderous feelings in you?

I don't give a shit, since I'm not eating it. If you think instant mash is worth the decrease in taste, then go for it.

Shepherd's Pie is with mutton meat, whereas Cottage Pie is with beef.

They also differ in assembly. Cottage Pie is more like a casserole, whereas Shepherd's Pie is more like...a banana split. It's usually just layered in a bowl. Cottage Pie is assembled in a dish, usually baked, and served.

There is Bolognese Sauce, which you can make. Meatballs. Kebabs, sausage, you can easily use it in several baked goods. I know of a cinnamon bun-like thing that's made with ground beef. I have seen minced meat in soups. Stuffed pasta also uses ground meat. You can also make schnitzel-like pieces, where a very thin and large patty is breaded and deep-fried. Hamburg Steak dishes are also possible, with onions, mushrooms, gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans.

Meat loaf is great, but what's greater are meatloaf sandwiches. You could bake square patties glazed. I think everyone likes the butts and glazed edge best.

There is something called Chinese Macaroni, here, which is just elbow macaroni mixed with pan-fried ground beef, onion, green pepper and celery, and soy sauce.

You can use any kind of shape with a variety of spices and a variety of sauces to make a variety of dishes. Meatballs, for instance, could be mixed with curry powder and a curry-yoghurt sauce to make an Indian-like dish.

Someone once made moose meatballs in a red wine and cream sauce over pasta, he was Finnish, I think.

Gotta move on to other threads, but I don't think you'll lack any creativity.

Interested in any of them in particular for an actual recipe?

BTW if you are would help to know if you're in North America or elsewhere, where they don't measure volumetrically so much for example.

Europe. Cottage Pie and chili recipes perhaps.

Things with dough tend to good, but require a bit to much work to be done more than on occasion.
