I made this tomato and turkey sauce today. I simmered turkey thighs in the sauce, shredded them and added them back. I added some black olives at the end and let it simmer for about 20 more minutes.

I put it over black rice. I really like black rice. The texture is amazing.

All in all a pretty good experiment.

I like to let my rice ferment for a few days it should get a nice sour smell and taste. Then I mix 1:1 unfiltered apple cider vinegar and yellow mustard. I mix that into the rice. Home made beef jerky cut with the grain and the individual fibers pulled apart and mixed in. It makes it nice because you have to chew it so well. Off to make some beef jerky and start the rice.
