What do you use these on?

Ever since I encountered my first one in a Papa John's box I've been putting them on everything. Pizza, salads, lasagna, hot and cold sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, I even found they're good on toast with just a little shredded cheese.

Have you tried stuffing them?

I miss Papa John's because of those, as well as that amazing Garlic Sauce they included in every box.

My town had one, but it went out of business almost 10 years ago now, and I have no clue as to why. Far superior than Dominos, Pizza Hut, and Little Caesar's at least in my opinion.

I just always ate them plain, but I can't imagine them being bad on most of the normal things such as Pizza, Subs, Salads, etc.

Sorry for the late reply. I made a feta cheese stuffing for them, then wrapped them in slices of salami and broiled them. They were glorious.

WAIT. That wasn't salami, it was soprasetta, but salami would work too.

Its still better than Dominos and Little Caesars, but the quality has declined and I would say its on the exact same level as Pizza Hut now.

That shit is disgusting. I tried it and it was literally like garlic liquid-plastic oil.

i love pepperoncini
i normally just see them in anitpasto but i like to take off the stems, drain & put on buttered bread
its kinda weird, the pepperoncini is mildly hot but mostly sweet so you get the hot & then the butter cools it down immediately & you get the sweet flavoring

They are really fantastic in a greek salad with chopped tomatoes, kalamata olives, onion, cucumber, and feta. Dress the salad in 3 to 1 olive oil and lemon juice with oregano, salt, and pepper.

in my neck of the woods we call them banana peppers and we pickle them and eat them out of the jar.

This. Fucking love banana peppers. I get legitimately upset when salad bars don't have them.

OP needs to get the mezzerita sliced banana peppers for salad and sandwiches

they are pretty much the same thing as peperonchinis

>> No.4624412

Grab a handful of those, shove it down your pants, and savor every last fucking moment for you will never have it again.
