It's time for NAME YOUR FAVORITE INDIAN DISH

For me it's all about the saag paneer. Forget chicken tikka, tandoori, korma, kofta, whatever. Just give me a giant tub of saag paneer and some naan and let me eat myself to death in peace.

I'm making sarson ka saagwala gomaansa for dinner tonight. That's beef in IndoPak bitter leaf broccoli (also called, chortlingly enough, rape) gravy. In India and Pakistan, saag is made from this vegetable (not spinach) or bitter mustard (the two vegetables look strikingly similar, bitter mustard and bitter leaf broccoli), but abroad, both of these vegetables are thin in the air. Italian bitter broccoli is a good substitute, but has a much thicker stem than sarson. If using Italian bitter broccoli, the stem must be steamed or boiled separately until soft before beginning the gravy.

I've never seen a single plate of sandnigger food that makes me go "Mmm I bet thats tasty"

...and its not even a racism thing. Yes, i'm racist, but I love me some chinese and korean and even german food. Even the most boring, tasteless looking plate of potatoes and chickpeas from goddamn britain looks scrumptious compared to this filth.

Yeah they do. Just like pretty much every other culture. Chili, stews, etc...

Indians also eat countless dishes that aren't essentially stews. Indian food is the best in the world when done properly. An authentic curry has like 20 or more spices/herbs etc... The aromas and flavors are unparalleled.

Ethiopian food looks "worse" than most Indian and that again has many stewed dishes and its also fucking mouthgasam inducing.

Not really sure I've met someone that would say Indian food looks disgusting...pic related.

Thankfully I live in a very ethnically diverse area which includes a bunch of Indian people, so the range of options for me is pretty large.

One place I go to I either order the chole bhature or pure chole. The other place I frequent, which is more of a dinner type set up I usually order malai kofta or palak paneer (or sometimes, the less traditional palak paneer makhani)

Lamb Phall, the hotter the better, with 3-4 popadoms. Never happier than when I'm staring down a piece of popadom with super spicy stuff on there. I've only ever been beaten once, and it was a one off curry night at a pub.
