Aside that they changed an incredible amount of the story the tv show, it's still all an adaption of the book. Theon's sister isn't going to "kick some ass", she's unaware of what happened to him until the fifth book when the Ironborn are conquered by Stannis Baratheon and Theon escapes Ramsay's held Wintefell just to be held until execution by Stannis, which, apparently Asha is attempting to plea that he isn't.
