What the hell, /ck/? Is this what we've really become? A board where idiots from /b/ can just come over, write two sentences, and shit up page zero with useless threads that appear just as fast as they're deleted?

Could we please have some better self moderation from the posters? Like not posting in troll threads, and reporting them for the moderators/janitors to delete.

People who talk like you usually have been on /ck/ for a year, if that. There was no golden period where people learned how to cook and everyone was smiley happy.

The only real things that have changed in the past five years or so:

>more activity; we used to be slow as shit
>different memes
>Sceak is no longer a vegan and talks less about his gay sex life
>no /b/ raids
>fewer food porn threads (this was more interesting to see back in the days before the proliferation of food blogs and Pinterest)
>no centralized and archived homebrew threads
>less arguing about beans in chili, (slightly) more arguing about tipping
>no more "Is fire cookie a troll?"
