At least it spent a whole episode resolving it and not a throwaway joke. Some permanent changes are fine but I think this kind of show is better when it's more episodic. Overarching plotlines just drag on and on when they're not way in the background. I'm also hoping Jack has at least one episodic, unconnected episode this season. Serialized Jack definitely works, so I don't mind it, but still.
