I ate most of a wheel of cheese raclette-style (melted and wrapped in smoked meat) once in the alps.
I was really ill afterwards but it was worth it.

The best meal I've ever had was either a full Chinese dinner, one from a Macanese expat in the outer Toronto area, and one in Macau itself. Multitudes of dim sum, peking duck, and course after course of delicious Cantonese cuisine.

That or a Prime Rib meal in a north woods Wisconsin supper club, complete with soup, potato, a few brandy old fashioneds and smothered in onions and mushrooms.
