How does /ck/ feel about Pineapple on pizza? I know some hate it and some love it.

Personally, I think it's great on pizza with chicken or ham the sweet and saltiness complement each other so well.

>> No.4495658

Only time pineapple is acceptable is, in my opinion, with ham.

Anything else and it just tastes out of place.

What is this "kebabsauce"? To my knowledge, a kebab is just about anything you can put on a stick and grill.

Having said that, I order Hawaiin pizza like, less than 5% of the time. Napolitana is where I'm at (just anchovies, olives, herbs, cheese and sometimes capers/chili)

Any other application of pineapple is shit.

Kebabsauce is pretty rare outside of Sweden as I understand it. It's extremely varied depending on where you go but it's basicly sour cream, mayo, chilisauce, and some spices. It fits very well with the pine apple's sweet flavour actually.

ah, that probably explains things. the 'white kebab sauce' here in the UK is akin to pure liquid garlic.

Well here's a vote for 'hate it'. I guess I'm spoiled with all the buffet options here.

There's this one place that gets a lot of traffic, and the pizzas are constantly being churned out and stay fresh.

They have like at least a dozen specialty pizzas in addition to the classics. Hawaiian pizza is dead to me.

When I was in elementary school in the 80s, we got a square pizza, a ladle of corn, a chocolate chip cookie, and a carton of milk. Some kids would spoon the corn onto their pizza and eat it. I tried it once. It wasn't that bad. I wouldn't ever actually order or make it that way, though.

The only thing I ever really hated about the lunches was the lack of drink choices. Water or juice or GTFO. Milk? Ugh, dude...

I personally don't like pineapple on pizza.

If it was set up as a dessert pizza or something with some other sweet stuff, it might be fine, but I think it's really out of place on "meal" pizza, if you will.

You might want to try smoked sardines instead, they're milder in salt than anchovies and I think they taste better on a pizza. The flavor of anchovies to be is overpowering, but sardines hit the spot.

Used to be a guy with a pizza truck (yes like all those beaners, and he even did deliveries) who had a pineapple burger pizza that tasted like a cross between a Dominos pizza and Red Robins Banzai Burger

My absolute favorite pizza combo would have to include pineapples, jalapenos, anchovies, sausage and onion. You get every flavor, sweet, spicy, salty, savory and tart. It's orgasmic.

only pizza delivery people where I live seem to be disgruntled old men who bitch you out when you try to cash in on the "45 minutes or it's free" guarantee.

Last time I ordered dominos was over two years ago. It took two and a half hours and five phone calls to finally get my pizza. Delivery faggot flipped shit when I didn't tip him. Looking back I shouldn't have even accepted the pizzas; they were stone cold... fuck was I ever hungry though

Pineapple is sweet and tart like a good tomato, so I don't see why people have a problem with it on pizza.

It goes well with saltier and fatty meats like ham and bacon, cuts through the fat with acidity and sweetness
