Alright /ck/ everybody loves a burger. Bad for you but tasty it's no wonder American's love them so much. The real question is though what is better; fried or grilled? Well /ck/? Let's see some reasoning and maybe even an interesting burger recipe or two.

I love a nice Mcdonalds brand burger. Those perium angus burgers are yummy!!

Hey this viral marketing is working brcause in craving some mcdonalds. Maybe i will try their new premium chicken mcwraps i hear they hace cheese and bacon, ranch, or honey mustard flavors all wrapped in a warm tortilla and filled with premium fresh veggies. Mmm then I may get the best value for my dollar by getting a mcdonald's mcDouble from the McDonald's value menus. Mmm mm then wash it down with a McDonalds brand triple-thick shake and a McCafe latte. Mm mmm im lovin it

Fried as is panfried or on a griddle? They're okay but grilling imparts a certain flavor onto beef based burgers that can't really be matched.

if im going to a restaurant I prefer them fried, if im making them at home I prefer grilled

i like them fried, i think they end up juicier cause it just sits in its one fat as opposed to a grill where the grease fulls through the grates

>bad for you
why is that an automatic assumption, it entirely depends how you cook it and what you put on it.
a burger fried and topped with bacon and cheese on a buttered roll is going to be completely different from one that's fire grilled and topped with avocado and salsa on a toasted flat bread.
And both will be equally delicious for different reasons

Who are you to say what is and is not bad for anyone? With my health condition, a burger now and again is greatly beneficial, so they are most certainly not bad for me.

What specifically about hamburgers makes them unhealthy? A cheeseburger composed of a single 100g patty with a slice of American cheese on standard bun has under 400 calories, so it's not an overload of calories that's your issue.
In total, that cheeseburger would have about 15% of your RDA of fat which isn't terribly high, so it can't be that, either.
What is it, then?
The way I see it, if one were to add a 100g side salad with 2tbsp of vinaigrette and enjoy that food with a glass of water, they'd have a decent meal for under 600 calories.
Hamburgers really shouldn't be getting all the hate they do. If anything, it's chips/fries and soft drinks that should be despised. Okay every so often but neither should ever be a staple.

Both are good, for different reasons. Fried is juicier because the burger cooks in a puddle of its own fat. However flame grilled is more flavorful because the fire gives it a certain flavor. Drier though because the fat drips off.

Best is char grilled to medium that way its got the flavor and its still juicy.

Not. But it should be.
