It reads like something that tries to be informative and persuasive while still maintaining that pseudo-elitist "in-the-know" air of intellectual superiority, mixed with the sort of faux-lowbrow populism that leads you to title an article "Wine Tasting is Bullshit"

In short, it reads like when Cracked writes about anything even slightly controversial, that is to say, like shit

As to the content of the article: if you cite a bunch of very well-known and extremely straightforward data then yes, you can string together a convincing argument. Good thing this hit the blogosphere only decades after the information came out in the other media!
