Does anybody else here like pleb beers? I drink all kinds, but I find no drink (alcoholic or not) is more refreshing on a hot day than a watery beer.

I don't particularly like corona but I do like pleb beers.

I think when you get over that initial wave of OMG THERE'S MORE THAN COORS? you learn to appreciate why pleb beers are so popular.

/ck/ is too busy trying to prove who can choke down the most IBUs and resist The Man™ so only ridiculously obscure, overhopped, sugary beers with outrageous ABV can be talked about on here without anger and indignation.

meanwhile I'll continue drinking good, normal beer.

oh wait, what was that? the neckbeards figured out a safe word for their pervy little games. it's called "session beer", lol.

yes. Some expensive "craft" beers can be nice but usually I drink Budweiser hurricane. It is < 1.50 for a 24 oz can, 8.1 abv, tastes nice with most food and does't give me gout like some pricer imported or local craft beers. Some times I buy miller original in a 40 oz bottle.I have enough money to buy whatever I like, but I don't feel the need to buy expensive beers just to impress others. And the same goes for spirits( realski vodka, gordon's gin, old crow or even williams bourbon, Inver house scotch, no name rum)or wine ( which frankly I rarely drink, but I try keep a bottle of decent merlot on hand for cooking or the the occasional guest who likes it.The point is, it frees me to donate money to charites or people that need it What is the point of paying big bucks for something just because advertising or society says you must?. I drive a 15 year old low millage suv, and live in a 1600 sq ft house built in 1974. But they are both paid off, and it secretly amuses me when I see friends desperately struggling to make 500/month car payments , 1500/ month house payments and buying expensive beer, wine and whiskey, just to impress others That is a no win game.If you are paying for it , buy what YOU like and screw what other people think you should drink or buy..

Bud Light with Lime and Dos Equis

>inb4 shitstorm?

>> No.4461492

i drank bud and miller light in las vegas on a trip there (im an aussie)

it was out of necessity (only thing being sold at random pop-up stalls along the strip) but it was actually alright, it being a hot day.

at proper bars i usually got a sam adams, not a bad drop. there were other foreign beers but i can get them in ausfagland, i wanted the yankee doodle dandy experience.

wait a sec, it was Coors that i liked after Bud. Coors was really refreshing when it was hot right around noon.

Miller was the worst fucking one. would not drink again.

>mix it

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFAGGOT.

the only times you mix beer:
>depth charge
>black & tan
and you only do the latter when you have a few bottles of mid-quality dark beer and a bunch of shitty largers that you wouldnt drink normally. like after a house party or something.
