Alright late-night /ck/, I'm getting myself one of those babies next time I do my groceries.

I haven't eaten much lately because of work + studies and I want to motherfucking treat myself. And I mean I want to end my meal with a massive boner.

Sad thing, however, is that I don't know how to cook beef to save myself. Sure, I can turn it into shoes but I want something juicy, maybe like medium-cooked. All I have is a god damn bloodlust for some great steak.

What I need right now is either a recipe or a list of ingredients that would work really well with a steak fillet. Google gave me a good list of recipes that would be interesting, but nothing beats people's opinions and advices.

Here's what I got so far. Yeah, I know, >foodnetwork, it's the only place that has shit that sounds great.

Not OP but, how long in advance can you marinate beef with lemon, lime and spices?

God damn nigger/white trash, who the fuck eats steak at medium? To sate your bloodlust you need to go lower than medium rare.

marinating takes a while, do it like half a day in advance

OP here, I don't like extremely juicy steaks. Give a man a chance, I used to ask for it well-done like a shithead until my step-dad "fucked up" my steak a few months back and made it medium. Shit was so god damn tasty I was stunned. I tried medium rare but it was too juicy in the middle. Plus the different in temperature from the outside and the middle was too much, felt like it was microwaved.

The great thing about tenderloin is you can literally not fuck it up, unless you accidentally make it blue rare or something, so don't do that.

Option 1: Stick it in the freezer, allow to partly freeze, then slice paper thin and serve drizzled with arugula, shaved parmigiano reggiano, lemon, salt, and pepper

Option 2: Cook as desired until done to the degree you like. Even medium well will taste just great. If you don't marinate, you need to add something like a lot of garlic butter, or bacon, in order to give it much-needed flavor. This is because otherwise, tenderloin tastes like basically nothing.

To avoid disgusting blue rare jelly, you can wrap in an airtight plastic bag and immerse in lukewarm water for about 40 minutes before cooking. This will bring the center to room temperature more effectively than just leaving it out in the air.

You are hopeless. Don't waste money on good meat when you're going to ruin it. Just eat at McDonald's like the disgusting pig you are.

If you don't know how to steak; sous vide the damn thing. You can't possibly fuck it up.
