I tried one last year. Never again
The McRib Feels and tastes too artificial. Swimming in disgusting barbecue sauce. Bun is gross.
The bagels. Sausage, egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel was great.
Good in a pinch, breakfast menu tastes better. McRib sucks. Glad Australia doesn't get it often.

What are your feelings on McDonalds in general?
It's the epitome of fast food, people give it flack for being unhealthy which is pretty "well no shit" but I don't see any issue with it being unhealthy.

I don't like it because unhealthy + not filling + price. What you get is not worth the price (not counting the dollar menu).

If I'm gonna eat 600+ calories I usually expect to be full and satisfied.

I remember eating it when i was younger and it was readily available. I fell victim to the recent marketing and purchased two last year when they were in my town. I was extremely underwhelmed. There was very little meat, and the "meat" didnt even taste like meat. all i could taste was a poorly concocted bbq sauce. i may have been eating tofu for all i know. the texture was terrible. Also, it looks terrible and half way through i thought i was going to yak it back up.

I used to love this place and enjoyed eating there. I dont know if the quality of their food dropped or if my tastes evolved. I absolutely refuse to eat any of their breakfast foods, they are terrible. I used to like their fries but now they do not taste good at all. All of their soft drinks are watered down and served with too much ice. Their sweet tea is a disgrace to sweet teas. Their commercials make me fill with rage and nearly become physically violent, although my mouth usually waters.

Overall, I think mcD's is a low quality, high profit franchise that appeals to primarily pre teen - late teen groups, as well as senior citizens who remember going there when it didnt suck. Mcd's is the on the same tier as walmart.

I used to work there, and I know that the sauce is the only thing keeping that sandwich good. It marinates, some times for hours. And once you taste it without, or see inside that meat, you can't go back to eating it.. though try the sauce on burgers. Cheaper, and that way you aren't just eating bbq with an edible spoon.

I tried it once, I couldn't recognize the type of meat and it felt like it had no substance. The BBQ sauce wasn't all that great either.

I'm not too familiar with past McD's products. Though I feel like their milkshakes have changed a lot from my childhood.

I only get lunch there occasionally because of a mall discount, otherwise I just find it convenient. I definitely wouldn't eat there everyday though.

>pretty negative. I stopped eating there just over a decade ago because I always felt sluggish, sleepy and very thirsty after I did. The taste of the food is weird, in that there's no reference point for it - it doesn't taste like anything other than McDonald's. And I associate that taste with not feeling particularly good after a meal. So I think it's lousy food. Couple that with ad campaigns that deliver the message that parents are doing a wonderful thing by taking their kids out to eat this lousy food, and I'm left feeling like this particular business is neither on the side of good eating nor good citizenship.

I don't think that the pork McDonald's gets to make the McRib is very good quality. They don't really taste that great. They have an odd texture, they are overly sweet. There are hard bits of bone or something in the patties sometimes. I like the onions though.

Hell yes! The fries a long time ago were great! They changed them a while back and I don't like them now.

It disgusts me that they just throw it in the bin and don't even let their employees eat the food like as if them eating it is worse than it being thrown out. I do understand however that it is to stop the employees from just taking free food, but I beleive these employees should be entitled to one free meal for every 5hrs+ worked and the amount of overtime I did whilst working there. It's safe to say that while it is a relatively good place for customers, as an employee it is shithouse, I especially dislike the idea that different stores are to compete with each other. cont.

Good place to work at if the franchisee isn't terrible, I'm happy where I'm at and they work around my college schedule really well. Since overnights are an option I can still get 40 hours a week even with a full class load, plus making 10.75 an hour as a manager is nice when I need to pay for rent and such in this cheap college town
