Mexican supermarket, duh. If you don't know where one is, it's probably in that part of town you don't usually go to.

>> No.4381711

Milkis is pretty much exactly the same thing as calpis soda, which I tried in Japan, which was awesome.

I've found calpis soda at an asian mart in my city, and it was like 7 bucks for a container the same size as OP's

Milkis was about $2.50.

Any regular meal stuff?
There's one near me, I think it's mainly Korean but it seemed to have a lot of general Asian stuff.
Only been in there once, but I have been meaning to go back.

salted plum soda

I tried making it myself before ordering it at a pho place.

Just make it yourself, that shit tastes way to plumy and salty at a resturaunt. with just a few, its a pleasant taste.

>> No.4382287

Also when I was in Korea I drank barley tea. Stuff is pretty good. Just like wort if you are familiar with brewing. It was suprisingly common.

That insane aloe vera drink.

I think one time we came back with a package of lychee jelly cups. Damn those things were delicious.

sparkling water + 2 or so dried, salted plums
I usually let them sit for about 5 minutes. The flavor gets stronger the longer it sits out.

I love this drink, it's honey green tea but it's so clean and refreshing and clear. My chinese store used to have it but for some reason they don't carry it anymore, so I went to a further one and they had it but then stopped stocking them. Now I can't find it.

this stuff's addictive. it's lightly sweet, kind of floral and starchy.

i'm also hooked on grass jelly drinks, but am always frustrated when there's that little bit of jelly at the bottom of the can i can't get out

>Ramune, it's melon soda.

Apart from being far from obscure and one of the most popular drinks in Asia, standard ramune is lemon-lime flavor. Melon is one of the 30-something flavor variants.

Not odd but korean, had kimchi for the first time today. Is it supposed to be very spicy? I mean, not very spicy like that, but enough to make your mouth burn... I really don't like spicy food that much, and it was a total turn-off. Pic related, does it say SUPER SPICY on this in korean or something?

Well, I'm not one for spicy food, so anything spicier than medium taco sauce is too much for me. Also, not fermented enough? It said it expired the 10th of May, should I've waited with eating it?

>> No.4383866

>>4383738
If you don't like kimchi because of the spiciness, then cucumber kimchi should probably skip your list.
