/ck/ help me make french macarons. I keep on having trouble with the feet and the batter isn't as thick as it is on the vids. Pic unrelated.

holy shit, good luck anon. i only wish i could accomplish such a herculean culinary feat. i have a friend that makes excellent macarons (dozens of varieties), so i'm only really involved in the consumption process of macarons.

Your eggs could be underwhipped. You may have over folded the batter. Might need to age the eggs.
Did you let them sit out for 30 minutes before baking them??
