Cook it well-done with ketchup.

salt. pepper. medium rare to medium.

if by chance you mean "how to cook it" as in WHAT DO I USE!?; anything that gets that task done.

BAM!

emeril alive inside you for 7 minutes.

too damn lean. Soak it in an oily marinade overnight first. Then get some really hot charcoals and sear that bitch on both sides then wrap in foil and set off to the side to finish cooking. Lean American beef has no taste.

Normally I'm a fan of med rare to medium, but those steaks look like they've been sitting in the trash bin behind the radiator for a week and have the discount tags to prove it so I might err on the side of marinating them in teriyaki, cooking them med well, and thin slicing them.

Or just well done with ketchup.

put it in a casserole dish, add potatoes, carrots, whole garlic cloves and about 1/2" of water

Bake @ 350 for 1.5 hours since they're thin

Never seen this sticker in my life. Do people normally buy their meats pre-salted?

Never seen it on beef. IQF chicken breasts have them quite often, though. Salt/water solution to add weight/shelf-life.
...but on beef?

Pot roast made with steak is amazing, but I only do it when I happen upon a great piece of meat highly discounted at the grocery store

It is fast, easy and the best pot roast you will ever have in your life

I made one once with a 35 dollar porterhouse (marked down to $5 or $6)
It was a damn shame cooking it like that, but damn it was the best potroast ever

The filet was like custard, absolutely perfect!!!!

why not just make steak from it?

>> No.4355039

Cut on the bias into thin strips and pound them flat with a meat tenderizer.

Melt some butter on medium heat, throw in the meat, salt/pepper/season, throw in some minced garlic when nearly finished, take meat off and put on a plate covered with foil.

Quick saute some spinach and pat dry. Make a simple pan gravy with half a cup of beef broth, corn starch slurry, and any extra seasonings.

Assemble on a brat bung/hoagie roll/etc with meat first, then thin cheese slices, then spinach.

Consume while dunking in pan gravy.

I used the guide from Good Eats first Episode "Steak your Claim."

I flipped it exactly four times as guided too.

Unfortunately my oven even set at 500 only seems to go up to 450

You just wasted that steak. You flip it ONCE and only once. Look at that shitty sear and look at all that juice leaking out. 4/10 would not eat.
